FURR, Cora Hibbs - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Cora N. Furr, 63, died from complications in Culver hospital at 11 a. m. Sunday. She had been ill for several weeks. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hibbs, she was born in Vine Grove, Ky., Nov. 26, 1887. She was married twice, in 1907 to Alvin Gray and to Newell Furr Nov. 3, 1948. She had lived in Crawfordsville for 14 years, coming here from New Richmond. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Paxton of Elmdale; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Brown of Rineyville, Ky., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son funeral home, with Rev. William D. Eckel in charge. Burial will be in Freedom cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
